水泥穩(wěn)定碎石施工及養(yǎng)護過程中，溫度高高低低交替作用，晚上溫度低，白天溫度高，這就勢必造成水泥穩(wěn)定碎石強度形成中受到損失。所以采取比平時水泥用量大1.0～1.5%的方法來彌補這些強度損失。
